How does Reboot Injury Protection work?

Reboots protect your picks from unfortunate injury outcomes

Injuries are inevitable in sports and unfortunately, those injuries can sometimes be the reason an entry ends up losing. With Reboot Injury Protection, we want to give you the peace of mind that your entries are protected from some of those unpredictable outcomes. Currently available for NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, WNBA, CFB and CBB picks, Reboot Injury Protection will give your entries an extra level of safety.

When a pick is voided due to Reboot Injury Protection, the contest will be settled based on the remaining picks in the entry. Check out the rules below to learn when Reboot Injury Protection will apply to a pick. Please note that, unless stated otherwise, the following rules only apply to injury and weather delays and not to coaches decisions or ejected players:

NFL: If a player is removed from a game in the 1st Half due to injury and does not return in the 2nd Half, all Full Game "More" picks on that player will be Voided. Only NFL players on Offense are eligible for Reboot Injury Protection. 

NBA: If a player is removed from a game in the 1st Half due to injury and does not return in the 2nd Half, all Full Game "More" picks on that player will be Voided. 

MLB: If a Batter leaves a game, for any reason, after having only 2 plate appearances or less, all picks ("More" and "Less") on that player will be Voided. 

If a Pitcher pitches less than 1 inning for any reason, all picks ("More" and "Less") on that player will be Voided. If a Pitcher leaves a game due to injury or weather delay after 1 inning or more, but recording 8 outs or less, all "More" picks on that player will be Voided. 

NHL: If a player is removed from a game in the 1st Period due to injury and does not return in the 2nd or 3rd Period, all "More" picks on that player will be Voided. 

WNBA: If a player is removed from a game in the 1st Half due to injury and does not return in the 2nd Half, all Full Game "More" picks on that player will be Voided.                                                                 

CFB: Reboot Injury Protection is only available for CFB players in games where both teams are ranked in the AP Top 25 or College Football Playoff Top 25.

If a player is removed from a game in the 1st Half due to injury and does not return in the 2nd Half, all Full Game "More" picks on that player will be Voided. Only CFB players on Offense are eligible for Reboot Injury Protection.                                                                                                         

CBB: Reboot Injury Protection is only available for CBB players in all Conference Tournament and March Madness Tournament games. 

If a player is removed from a game in the 1st Half due to injury and does not return in the 2nd Half, all Full Game "More" picks on that player will be Voided.
