Why was my pick cancelled?
Most likely the athlete in your entry did not play or was traded
- In any paid contest, if the athlete in your entry does not play (due to an injury for example), that pick will be removed from your entry and the contest will be settled based on the remaining picks. If fewer than 2 picks remain after an athlete does not play or there is not at least 1 player from both teams remaining, the entry as a whole will be cancelled and refunded to the player.
- All players in a Combo pick need to be active for it to be considered a valid entry. If any player is not active, all picks on the combo will be removed from your entry and it will be settled based on the remaining picks.
- We use the following criteria to establish whether an athlete played or not. For contests on shorter match periods (i.e. H1, H2, etc), the below criteria are applied to that specific match period.
- Football: the athlete is inactive if he/she plays zero snaps in the game (full or half)
- Basketball: the athlete is inactive if he/she plays zero seconds in the game (full or half)
- Hockey: the athlete is inactive if he/she has zero time on the ice (full or half)
- Golf: the athlete is inactive if he/she does not complete all holes of a round. For contests on specific holes, the athlete is considered active if he/she completes the hole. If a round is not completed on the same day that it was started, all contest will still be considered valid if the round is completed on the day directly following the start day.
- eSports: the athlete is inactive if he/she does not participate in all relevant maps or if he/she does not complete all the relevant maps in the contest. When an athlete has technical problems during a map, this player will be designated as inactive.
-
- UFC/MMA: the athlete is inactive if he/she does not participate in a fight for at least 1 second.
- Baseball: a Pitcher is considered active if he pitched at least 1 full inning. A hitter needs to have at least 2 plate appearances to be determined active.
- Soccer: the athlete is considered active if he plays at least 45 minutes in the game.
- If an athlete in any of your paid contests is no longer a member of that team and does not play for the team he/she was on when the contest was entered will result in that pick not being included in your contest.
- If a player is injured and the pick is eligible for Reboot Injury Protection, the pick will be voided and the contest will be settled based on the remaining picks. To learn if a pick is eligible for Reboot Injury Protection, check out this article.
- Furthermore, ParlayPlay reserves the right to cancel any contest at their sole discretion. For example, if it is deemed that a user had access to stats that determined the outcome of their contest prior to making an entry, ParlayPlay has the right to cancel these contests.
